TXWG SAREX
October 16, 2021 - October 17, 2021
Well, we’re gearing up for the October SAREX which will be Saturday and Sunday, October 16-17, at the Ellington Composite Squadron facility on the military side of Ellington Airport. As it is within the military area, everyone in any vehicle going through the entrance checkpoint must have photo identification.
Unless something has changed recently, we are still under Covid protocols, so bring your mask and be prepared to have your temperature taken when you sign into the exercise. As a reminder, you must have your CAP identification card and 101 card with you, and your 101 card must show you have completed General Emergency Services training and that you are qualified at least as a trainee in whatever position(s) you plan to fill. This means completing the familiarization and preparatory tasks on your SQTR and getting your commander’s approval. If you have any questions about this, contact your unit’s Emergency Services Officer.
